Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure.
• Experience or strong competence in critical care nursing practices.
• Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to manage high-acuity patients.
• Proficiency with advanced monitoring/technology and medication/infusion management.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills with multidisciplinary providers.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing reassessments.
• Manage medications and infusions safely and accurately.
• Monitor ventilator status and support respiratory care as needed.
• Continuously monitor hemodynamics and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Participate in rapid response activities and elevate care appropriately.
• Collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary care team.
• Educate patients and families and support informed care decisions.
• Maintain detailed, accurate electronic health record documentation.
