Job summary

The U.S. Navy Nurse Corps Officer seeks a Critical Care Registered Nurse for a full-time, in-person role nationwide. You will deliver specialized critical care to severely ill patients within Navy facilities and operational environments, collaborating with physicians and teams to stabilize and monitor care while supporting Sailors and their families.

Starting compensation ranges from $101,640 to $149,567 annually, with extensive benefits and opportunities at military medical facilities worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program.
• Successfully passed the NCLEX-RN.
• At least 2 years of full-time critical care nursing experience within the past 2 years.
• Full-time clinical experience defined as 36 hours per week.
• Must be aged 21–64 under federal law.

Critical Care Registered Nurse – U.S. Navy Nurse Corps Officer

Starting Annual Compensation: $101,640 to $149,567

Key Responsibilities:

As a Navy Critical Care Registered Nurse, you’ll provide specialized nursing care to critically ill and medically complex patients in Navy hospitals, medical centers, and operational environments. You’ll work alongside physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams to stabilize, monitor, and care for patients requiring intensive nursing support — helping maintain the health and readiness of Sailors, Marines, and their families.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program
• Successfully passed the NCLEX-RN
• At least 2 years of full-time clinical experience as a Critical Care Registered Nurse within the preceding 2 years for consideration for the limited Critical Care Accession Bonus quotas
• Full-time clinical experience is defined by Navy guidance as 36 hours per week
• Between the ages of 21 and 64 (Federal Law: Title 10 U.S. Code section 531 and 532)
