Rochester Public Schools is seeking a Special Education ESP paraeducator to provide instructional support and implement IEP-related activities under certified staff supervision.
You will assist with data collection, monitor student progress, and support students with personal cares, behavior plans, and de-escalation as needed. The role requires reliability, teamwork, and strong communication with teachers and families.
6.5 hours per day
180 duty days per year.

The Special Education ESP provides support to students at the school site withneeds who qualify for special education services in various school environments. The position is also responsible for implementing aspects of the student's IEP (Individual Education Plan) under the direction of certified staff.This can include instructional support, behavior management, health support, collecting data, and communicating academic and behavioral progress at the school site.Percentage of time spent on essential duties and responsibilities will be dependent on the individual student's needs and abilities.
