Job summary

Deloitte's Government & Public Services (GPS) practice seeks a senior professional to design, build, and deploy data management, automation, and AI-enabled solutions for government clients. You will lead requirements, develop automation pipelines, and present roadmaps to stakeholders.

Required: 8+ years in data/automation, 5+ years with Python/ServiceNow/Playwright/UiPath, TS/SCI with Polygraph, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required.
  • 8+ years designing, building, and supporting data management or automation solutions.
  • 5+ years developing workflow automation with Python/ServiceNow/Playwright/UiPath.
  • 3+ years implementing data governance and data quality processes.
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
  • Willingness to travel ~20% on average
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Lead assessment, design, and implementation of data management and AI-enabled solutions for government clients.
  • Elicit and manage business, functional, and technical requirements.
  • Build automation frameworks and data pipelines using Python, ServiceNow, Playwright, and UiPath.
  • Research AI technologies and develop prototypes and pilots.
  • Design capabilities like intelligent document processing and AWS Bedrock/Textract.
  • Lead technical execution, testing, deployment, and stakeholder presentations.

Work You'll Do
  • Leading the assessment, design, and implementation of data management, intelligent automation, and AI-enabled solutions for government and public sector clients
  • Eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and managing business, functional, and technical requirements to align solution design with stakeholder needs and strategic objectives
  • Building and integrating automation frameworks, data pipelines, scripts, and enterprise solutions using Python, ServiceNow, Playwright Automation, UiPath, and other automation technologies
  • Researching emerging automation and artificial intelligence technologies; developing prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and pilot solutions; and evaluating alternatives to traditional enterprise automation platforms
  • Designing and integrating capabilities such as intelligent document processing, generative artificial intelligence services, Amazon Web Services (AWS) Bedrock, and AWS Textract to improve operational efficiency and mission outcomes
  • Leading technical execution, testing, deployment, continuous improvement, and stakeholder presentations, including demonstrations, workshops, and solution roadmaps

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or another technical field
  • 8+ years of experience designing, building, and supporting data management, data engineering, or automation solutions
  • 5+ years of experience developing workflow automation solutions using Python, ServiceNow, Playwright Automation, or UiPath
  • 3+ years of experience implementing data governance, metadata management, data quality, or master data management processes
  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) with Polygraph security clearance
  • Ability to travel 20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting government or public sector data modernization programs
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience with structured query language (SQL), Python, and enterprise data warehousing solutions
  • Experience with data architecture, data modeling, and large‑scale data integration
  • Experience with Agile delivery methods and DevSecOps‑enabled data platform delivery
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or another technical field

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Virginia, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to Virginia and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $137,500 to $229,100.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
