Qualifications

  • Technical training in ISR; ELINT or related military/civilian discipline with 6+ years in payload analysis and delivery of intelligence products.
  • Progressive experience in strategic and tactical ELINT operations.
  • Maritime Patrol/ASW experience with fixed, rotary, or remote systems (e.g., P-3, P-8, SH-60B/R, S-3, MQ-9A/B).
  • Experience in multi-sensor/multi-domain UAS joint and multinational operations.
  • Experience with Link 16.
  • Ability to compile, interpret and analyze technical data and contribute solutions to complex problems.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to interface with all levels and customers.
  • Complete knowledge of computer operations and applications.
  • Ability to work independently and lead in a team; able to travel CONUS/OCONUS.

Job description

General Atomics Systems Integration, LLC (GA-SI), an affiliate of General Atomics, is a provider of military and commercial engineering services. GA-SI is a leading-edge expert in systems integration technologies, reliability improvements, and controls system design.

GA-SI Intelligence Services is seeking an Intelligence Systems Operator (ASW/ELINT) to support Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions associated with MQ-9A/B operations.

Work will be performed in Ground Control Stations (GCS), Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) centers, and deployed operational environments, supporting mission planning, technical support, real-time operations, and post-mission assessments.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Deploys CONUS and OCONUS working with General Atomics operations, US Military Forces and/or Foreign Allied Military Forces in Ground Control Stations, Tactical Operations Centers, or PED centers.
  • Operate and troubleshoot ELINT systems.
  • Assess, analyze and report on ELINT activity.
  • Manipulate various software systems to support ELINT operations.
  • Produce intelligence products and tippers.
  • Recommend collection plan.
  • Coordinate with mission planners and teammates to best accomplish the desired mission tasking.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate electronic and hard copy products, reports and records.
  • May participate with engineering in the development of new and existing technologies; may analyze imagery data in consultation with engineering to determine improvements.
  • Represent the Company as a primary interface with internal and external customers.
  • May provide guidance and training to less experienced operators.
  • Maintain the strict confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive information and US government classified material.
  • Responsible for ensuring all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations are observed wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
  • Responsible for ensuring work is accomplished in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Job Qualifications
  • Typically requires technical training in Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR); ELINT or equivalent US Military AFSC/MOS/NEC or a related military or civilian discipline and six or more yearsexperience in payload analysis and exploitation, and intelligence products delivery.
  • Progressive experience in strategic and tactical ELINT operations and employment.
  • Desired experience on Maritime Patrol and ASW aboard fixed, rotary, and/or remotely operated systems (including, but not limited to, P-3, P-8, SH-60B/R, S-3, RQ/MQ-4, and MQ-9A/B) aircraft.
  • Experience in multi-sensor/multi-domain in UAS joint and /or Multi-National operations.
  • Experience with Link 16.
  • Ability to compile, interpret and analyze technical data, and contribute solutions to complex problems.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to effectively interface with all levels of employees, and to represent the Company with military and civilian customers, contractors, and aircrew.
  • Complete knowledge of computer operations and applications.
  • Ability to work both independently and lead in a team environment is essential, as is the ability to work extended hours and travel CONUS and OCONUS as required.
