Job summary

Peraton is seeking an experienced Cyber Professional to provide Intel Planner support and serve as Task Lead to a ~20-person team supporting USCYBERCOM J2 enterprise efforts. This role will manage scope, cost, and schedule across subtasks with accountability for quality and continuous process improvement.

The incumbent will interface with government customers at working and senior levels, coordinate with domestic and foreign partners, and ensure compliance with DoD and IC policies while driving

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance required.
  • 12+ years of relevant experience, including work within the last 2 years.
  • Experience managing scope, cost, and schedule on government contracts.
  • Ability to interface with government customers at working and senior levels; strong written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to drive process improvement.
  • Knowledge of intelligence planning concepts, JOPES, and IC/DoD classification guidelines.
  • Ability to produce timely, concise analytic reports in Microsoft Office formats.
  • Ability to evaluate and synthesize information using structured analytic techniques.
  • Understanding of intelligence collection capabilities and limitations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication with foreign and domestic partners.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and accountability for enterprise task deliverables, performance, and customer communications.
  • Manage scope, cost, and schedule across all subtasks; mitigate risks to contract performance.
  • Lead continuous improvement to increase quality, integration, and value add products for the J2 mission set.
  • Prepare and present status reports, briefings, and program documentation to government stakeholders and internal leadership.
  • Ensure all work complies with contract terms, DoD and IC policies, and Peraton standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of ~20 personnel across subtask areas.
  • Proactively communicate program status, issues, and recommendations; elevate as needed.
  • Represent the program in customer meetings, reviews, and planning sessions.
  • Identify inefficiencies, propose solutions, and drive improvements with team and customer.
  • Support development and maintenance of Operating Instructions (OIs) and SOPs.
  • Intelligence Planner responsibilities: integrate Defense and National intelligence support into DoD planning per JOPES.
  • Support development of campaign plans, deliberate planning, crisis management, and time-sensitive planning.
  • Assist with red teaming and feasibility assessments within planning.
  • Coordinate production of National Intelligence Support Plans (NISP), Annex B, and Functional Support Plans.
  • Ensure intelligence planning aligns with J3, J5, J7 battle rhythms.
  • Develop and coordinate intelligence task lists and responsible divisions.
  • Provide coordination with foreign and domestic partners to inform leadership.
  • Manage portfolios of partners for government requirements.
  • Develop strategies to build partnerships for enhanced analytic production.
  • Document Operating Instructions (OIs) for programs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance required
  • 12+ years of relevant experience, including work within the last 2 years.Master’s degree in a related field, or a Bachelor’s plus 5 additional years of senior-level experience (17 years total).
  • Demonstrated experience managing scope, cost, and schedule on government contracts
  • Proven ability to interface directly with government customers at the working and senior levels; strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement
  • Working knowledge of intelligence planning concepts, JOPES, and IC/DoD classification guidelines
  • Demonstrated ability to produce timely, logical, and concise analytic reports and planning documents in Microsoft Office formats
  • Proficiency evaluating and synthesizing multiple sources of information using structured analytic techniques
  • Understanding of intelligence collection capabilities and limitations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work with foreign and domestic partners
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent
  • Familiarity with J2 or U.S. Cyber Command mission areas
  • Experience with CDRL preparation and government deliverable management
  • Background in joint intelligence planning, JIPOE, or operational planning support
  • Familiarity with USCYBERCOM J2/JIOC planning processes and battle rhythms
  • Knowledge of interagency coordination processes and whole-of-government strategic decision-making

Peraton is seeking an experienced Cyber Professional with to provide technical support as an Intel Planner and serve as Task Lead to a team of approximately 20 professionals supporting USCYBERCOM J2 enterprise efforts (Knowledge Management, Technical Edit, Graphics, and Executive Team Support). This individual will serve as the primary management interface between the contractor team and the government customer, with full accountability for scope, cost, schedule, quality, and continuous process improvement across all subtasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with contract terms, applicable DoD and Intelligence Community policies, and Peraton standards

  • Integrate Defense and National intelligence support capabilities into operational planning functions across DoD in accordance with JOPES
  • Support development of campaign plans, deliberate planning, crisis management, and time-sensitive planning
  • Assist with red teaming and intelligence operations feasibility assessments within the planning process
  • Coordinate production of National Intelligence Support Plans (NISP), Annex B, and Functional Support Plans
  • Ensure intelligence planning activities are integrated and synchronized with J3, J5, and J7 battle rhythms
  • Develop, manage, and coordinate intelligence task lists identifying intelligence support products and responsible divisions
  • Provide full-range coordination with command partners (foreign and domestic) to inform intelligence Directorate leadership
  • Manage portfolios of foreign and domestic partners for various governmental requirements
  • Develop strategies to establish, develop, and maintain partnerships enabling enhanced analytic production
  • Document Operating Instructions (OIs) for Command-wide programs and initiatives
