The Department of the Air Force Headquarters seeks a multi-source intelligence analyst to perform complex technical analysis and production of ISR information for customer requirements at Patrick AFB, Florida. The role requires independent judgment to develop new methods and to present ISR capabilities to service, national, and coalition customers.
The position involves managing intelligence production to meet command and agency needs and advising leadership on operational policy matters.
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a multi-source intelligence analyst engaging in the complex technical analysis and production of information obtained and processed from one or more intelligence sources in support of customer requirements. **Position may be eligible for DCIPS STEM TLMS**
Serves as a multi-source intelligence analyst on complex technical analysis and production. Situations/information analyzed and produced are not susceptible to generally accepted methods and requires the use of independent judgment and experience to develop new methods, approaches, and procedures. Presents ISR capabilities to a variety of service, national, and coalition customers.
Provides Commanders and other customers the intelligence information and analysis derived from ISR assets to maximize their own forces' effectiveness by optimizing friendly force strengths, exploiting adversary weaknesses, and countering adversary strengths. Conducts complex analysis of multi-source intelligence. Evaluates both classified and unclassified information to understand adversary strengths, weaknesses, and centers of gravity. Manages intelligence production.
Manages intelligence production to satisfy component, combatant command and support agency requirements. Serves as a functional authority on ISR issues for Agency leadership. Makes recommendations and defends to the Director and AF ISR Agency staff, decisions on operational policy matters; often required to make recommendations on committing Agency funds or resources impacting future capabilities.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Systems (DCIPS) position implemented under Section 504, Title V of Public Law 99-569, Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1987, as codified in Sec 1601, Chap 83 of Title 10 United States Code which sets forth Air Force policies and procedures for DCIPS. This position is in the Excepted Service.

The posted pay range is $107228 - $139398/yr.
