Job summary

Valiant Integrated Services in Arlington, VA seeks an Intelligence Oversight (IO) Analyst - Mid Level to join our team supporting the National Guard Bureau/J2. The IO Analyst will serve as an Intelligence Oversight Trainer and travel to states for staff visits, inspections, and training.

The ideal candidate has extensive DoD Intelligence Oversight experience, TS/SCI eligibility, and strong briefing/communication skills to support crisis response and policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide support as Intelligence Oversight Trainer to NGB/J2 and States.
• Apply Intelligence Oversight during Domestic Operations in the States/Territories.
• Travel to States for Staff Assistance Visits, IO Inspections and IO Training.
• Serve as SME on IO matters, especially crisis response and DoD policy.
• Provide direct IO support to CNGB and NGB JS.
• Review PUM and DILR requests.
• Coordinate with DoD IO Officials.
• Prepare information briefings for the Senior IO Officer.
• Participate in IO Initial and Annual Refresher training.

Valiant is looking for an Intelligence Oversight (IO) Analyst - Mid Level to join our team! This position will be seated in Arlington, VA supporting the National Guard Bureau/J2. The Intelligence Oversight (IO) Analyst - Mid Level provides support to the NGB/J2 and States by serving as an Intelligence Oversight Trainer. The ideal candidate should have a background in Intelligence Oversight supporting the National Guard Bureau or the 54 JFHQs. The IO Trainer will travel to States to assist with Staff Assistance Visits, IO Inspections and IO Training.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide support to the NGB/J2 and States by serving as an Intelligence Oversight Trainer.
• Applying Intelligence Oversight during Domestic Operations within the States and Territories.
• Travel to the States to assist with Staff Assistance Visits, IO Inspections and provide IO Training.
• Serve as a SME on all matters relating to Intelligence Oversight, especially as it applies to crisis response scenarios and DoD regulations and policy.
• Provide direct IO support to the CNGB and NGB JS.
• Review Proper Use Memorandums (PUM) and Defense Imagery Legal Reviews (DILR) requests.
• Routinely coordinate with DoD IO Officials.
• Prepare information briefings and decision briefings for the Senior Intelligence Oversight Officer.
• Serve as a member of the briefing team for IO Initial and Annual IO Refresher training.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: ActiveTop Secret clearance and SSBI investigation with eligibility to be read on to SCI

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in approved field AND a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in associated field; OR
• High School diploma AND a minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in associated field

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Extensive experience authoring and briefing intelligence products.
• Background in DoD and Services Intelligence Oversight policies and procedures.
• Technically savvy and proficient in MS Office Products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and SharePoint.
• Detail Oriented
• Ability to communicate effectively and concisely using a variety of styles and technique appropriate to the audience.
• Extensive analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and organization skills.
• Ability to think critically and present biases through differing views.
• Ability to participate productively as a contributing member in a team environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting, ascending, and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees.

Pay Range

The estimated pay range for this job. Disclosing pay information promotes competitive and equitable pay. The actual pay rate will depend on the person's qualifications and experience.

$115,000.00 - $125,000.00 / year
