Paragon Cyber Solutions LLC is seeking a Data Scientist to support a Government intelligence mission. You will apply statistics, machine learning, data mining, and other data science techniques to large volumes of intelligence data to identify trends, support predictive analysis, and deliver clear findings to decision makers.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL for data analysis.
• Experience with ML models using open-source tools.
• Experience with data mining and predictive modeling.
• Experience analyzing large datasets to identify trends and findings.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Hands-on with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud computing and data management constraints.
• Experience with Git or similar version control.

Responsibilities

• Apply statistics, ML, data mining to large intelligence datasets.
• Identify trends across IC data sources to inform decisions.
• Develop ML, data mining, prediction algorithms using open-source tools.
• Code algorithms to support intelligence search and discovery missions.
• Recommend best data management practices given hardware/storage constraints.
• Support predictive analysis, social media analytics, and wargaming.
• Perform exploratory analysis and rapid iteration to derive intelligence.
• Prepare written, visual, and verbal findings for decision makers.
