Job summary

LMI invites applications for a Content Management/Editorial Support Specialist (TS/SCI with Polygraph) to support an Intelligence Community client in the McLean area. This full-time, client-facing role serves as Publishing and Scheduling Officer responsible for proofreading, copy-editing, and ensuring proper classification and publication readiness.

You will coordinate with analysts, graphic designers, cartographers, and editors, uphold tradecraft standards, and help implement presentation

Qualifications

• Proven editing and proofreading capabilities for intelligence content.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience supporting editors, analysts, and production staff.

Responsibilities

• Proofread and copy-edit intelligence articles, graphics, and visuals.
• Ensure correct classification and control markings on documents.
• Make last-minute publication decisions with limited oversight.
• Post items to websites and prepare them for publication.
• Provide excellent service to contributing authors, editors, and designers.
• Maintain quality-control processes and provide feedback on published materials.
• Follow office policies on formatting, graphics, and legal guidance.
• Incorporate recent innovations in presentation and format.
• Support development team in identifying bugs or pain points in publishing.
