Job summary

Suvi, an Akima company, seeks a Training & Field Support Specialist to join our Washington, DC team. You will develop course materials for analytical applications, deliver training in virtual and classroom settings, and provide ongoing end‑user support to our client workforce.

The role requires a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, IT training or helpdesk experience, and up to 25% travel. Strong communication and data analysis abilities are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility or ability to obtain
• Experience in a technical support position or IT training in a Windows-based IT environment (3 years preferred)
• Formal IT/training/education field preferred
• Experience with UAT for system releases and patches
• Experience with IC operations, platforms, functions, and terminology (2 years preferred)
• Experience delivering IT training and curriculum development for US Federal agencies or IT helpdesk experience (1 year preferred)
• Experience developing training for intelligence personnel focused on analytic workflows
• Experience using analytic tools and databases to support intelligence analysis
• Excellent oral and written communication and customer service
• Intermediate MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Data analysis and presentation using Excel (charts, pivot tables)
• Willingness to travel 25%

Responsibilities

• Acquire deep understanding of analytical applications to instruct end users on system functionalities.
• Create comprehensive training materials tailored for various courses.
• Provide frontline field support, ad hoc training, troubleshooting, and incident response.
• Travel to deliver training sessions across locations as needed.
• Collaborate to implement and refine training programs to meet evolving needs
