Basic Qualifications

- Experience in Counterintelligence (CI) with a degree in applicable studies or equivalent experience in the field.
- Experience with legal issues as they relate to Counterintelligence including applicable state and federal statutes.
- Candidate must be capable of interpreting specific Government policies and procedures relating to the field such as the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
- Well refined Interviewing, report writing and organizational skills.
- Must have the ability to travel up to 25%
- Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance and must have at least an interim secret clearance prior to start.

Job Description

You will be the Intelligence Analyst Staff for the Counterintelligence (CI) and Insider Threat program and strategy across the MFC enterprise.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Intelligence Analyst Staff, you will serve as an Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO), developing education and training materials in support of the CI/Insider Threat mission and will engage internal and external stakeholders on a continuing basis as an integral partner for the CI/Insider Threat program. This candidate will have the expertise to conduct CI investigations, identify emerging trends and patterns, risk assessments, and threat mitigation strategies. Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing recommendations to the leadership team/decision makers on methodologies, results and conclusions from applied operations research. Active action words: Creating, Documenting, Leading, Working, Impacting, etc.
• Ensuring that counterintelligence activities are thoroughly performed and properly documented for business reference and quality.
• Providing recommendations and formulates / implements counterintelligence strategies for review by the leadership team to apply across the enterprise.
• Interface with the Corporate Office of Counterintelligence Operations Corporate Investigations, as well as Senior Management on CI issues while supporting functional leadership, including HR, and Legal.
• Understand relevant federal, state and local laws as well as LM policies and procedures. Demonstrates integrity and sensitivity of diverse cultures; performs detailed work with accuracy; exercises sound judgment in safeguarding confidential and sensitive information; exercises diplomacy when dealing with people in sensitive situations.
• Developing solutions to problems of unusual complexity which require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovativeness. Challenges are frequently unique and solutions may serve as precedent for future decisions.

Desired skills

- 8+ years of counterintelligence experience and background in intelligence operations in the military, law enforcement, or other related intelligence community experience. Team oriented, but able to work in a virtual environment.
- Strong presentation and briefing skills.
- Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
- Model ethical behavior, integrity, and have a strong work ethic.
- Ability to obtain a TOP SECRET security clearance as applicable.
- Understanding of NISPOM Conforming Change 2.
- Understanding of NISPOM Insider Threat Program requirements.
- Understanding of Special Access Programs Security.
- Self-starter with proven leadership skills and impeccable ethical standards.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills.
- Candidate should maintain a well-established liaison in the counterintelligence arenas with Law enforcement, prosecutorial agencies and intelligence communities.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree. Considered an emerging authority.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $99,700 - $175,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
