Job summary

Illinois Attorney General (IL) is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to evaluate information and contribute to intelligence products. You will review technical and human source data to identify gaps, patterns and targets for investigation, and respond to requests with detailed written outputs.

You will conduct tactical analysis across multiple databases, producing reports and briefings for dissemination, and determine the best format to present conclusions and recommendations drawn from data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice or a related field required.
• At least three years of related work experience.
• Strong leadership, judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of criminal intelligence analysis and strong technological skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess information and contribute to intelligence products.
• Review and analyze collections to identify gaps and new targets.
• Respond to requests, perform database checks, and provide written responses.
• Conduct tactical analysis from multiple data sources for investigations.
