Job summary

Information Networking Assoc is seeking a skilled Intel Analyst to collect, analyze, and disseminate intelligence on security threats, geopolitics, and related data. You will interpret complex information and provide actionable insights to guide organizational strategy and decision-making.

This hybrid role requires weekly commuting to the Harrisburg, PA office, with responsibilities spanning data collection, threat monitoring, analysis, and strategic briefings for leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in intelligence analysis preferred.
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Data Collection from diverse sources including open-source, gov't, reports, and satellite imagery.
• Threat Monitoring of ongoing events and reporting findings to stakeholders.
• Data Analysis to identify patterns and trends for reports.
• Prepare detailed reports and briefings for decision-makers with recommendations.
• Develop short- and long-term threat assessments.
• Provide insights on mitigating risks to security and assets.
• Support senior leadership in strategic planning and crisis response.
• Analyze security threats including terrorism, cyber threats, geopolitical instability.
• Use intelligence tools and databases for data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Provide real-time analysis during crises to inform decisions.

Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Intel Analyst to join our team. The Intel Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and disseminating intelligence related to security threats, geopolitical developments, and other relevant data. The Intel Analyst will interpret complex data and provide actionable insights to guide organizational strategy and decision-making.

This is a hybrid position. Candidate must be able to commute to corporate office in Harrisburg, PA on a weekly basis.***

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Data Collection: Gather intelligence from a wide range of sources, including open-source material, government sources, field reports, satellite imagery, and human intelligence.
• Threat Monitoring: Track and monitor ongoing threats, incidents, and geopolitical events, and report significant findings to appropriate stakeholders.
• Data Analysis: Analyze raw data to identify patterns, interpret trends, and create actionable intelligence reports.
• Report Preparation: Prepare detailed reports and briefings for decision-makers, highlighting key findings and offering strategic recommendations.
• Threat Assessments: Develop short-term and long-term assessments of potential threats and emerging risks.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify and provide insights on mitigating risks to organizational security, personnel, and assets.
• Strategic Support: Provide support to senior leadership in developing strategic plans and responding to operational challenges.
• Security Threat Analysis: Recommend actions to address security threats, including the analysis of terrorism, cyber threats, and geopolitical instability.
• Intelligence Tools: Utilize intelligence tools, databases, and software for data collection, analysis, and reporting while maintaining data integrity.
• Real-Time Analysis: Offer real-time analysis during crises to inform operational decision-making.

Education, Experience, And Skills

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (Intelligence Studies, Political Science, Security, etc.) required.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in intelligence analysis, military, law enforcement, or cybersecurity preferred.
• Skills:
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills to present complex information clearly.
  • Experience with data mining, gathering, analysis, and report writing.
  • Ability to interpret foreign languages (Spanish, French, German, Italian, Japanese) is preferred.
  • High proficiency in using intelligence gathering tools and databases.
  • Strong attention to detail and active listening skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and database management.
  • Desktop publication skills are a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, handle sensitive information, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work in a sensitive, complex, and confidential environment.
• Must pass a comprehensive background check.
• Valid state-issued driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to work outside of standard business hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
