Job summary

The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) is seeking a CJ Specialist to support the ICAC CyberTip program within the NC ICAC Task Force. You will review CyberTips, assist with subpoenas, and gather intelligence to aid investigations.

Based in one of eight district offices near your residence, the role includes training others, presenting on internet safety, and collaborating with local, state, and federal partners.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of criminal justice and law enforcement procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to use computers and the internet, including social media.
• Clear and concise written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Review CyberTips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
• Prepare and submit administrative subpoenas to obtain information.
• Collect and disseminate background information on subjects, victims, witnesses, etc.
