Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation is seeking an Intelligence Consultant to monitor social media and global intelligence for emerging threats and reputational risks affecting the organization, employees, and leadership. You will deliver routine intelligence reporting and culturally relevant insights to support strategic decisions in a hybrid Chicago setting.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

This position supports the Intelligence Consultant by monitoring social media and global intelligence to identify emerging trends, potential threats, and reputational risks that may impact the organization, its employees, corporate locations, and senior leadership. The role conducts research, provides situational awareness, develops routine intelligence reporting, and delivers culturally relevant insights to support strategic decision-making. Responsibilities also include monitoring international locations where employees and leadership travel for business, supporting security-related projects such as card access and camera replacement initiatives, coordinating security surveys for new corporate properties, managing vendor and contract support, and assisting with departmental budgeting and other major projects.

Required Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree AND 2 years of security intelligence experience in either the public or private sector OR 6 years of security intelligence experience in either the public or private sector.
• Ability to identify and assess potential threats.
• Experience with intelligence gathering and analysis tools and techniques.
• Experience in establishing metrics and recommending strategies supporting organizational goals.
• Experience in utilizing web monitoring technology.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision‑making skills.
• PC proficiency to include Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

Preferred Job Qualifications

• Leadership experience with sound decision‑making skills.
• Training/Certification in Intelligence Analysis and Open Source Knowledge of analytic visualization tools (Power BI).
• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, communications or IT.
• Advanced degree or ASIS certifications (CPP, PCI).

#LI-Hybrid This role is 3 in-office and 2 days remote at our Chicago Location (Randolph Street).

Compensation

Compensation: $68,300 - $95,900 Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

Base Pay Range $55,900.00 - $123,500.00 Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
