Job summary

Raytheon is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to join the Space Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance team at Buckley AFB, CO. The role requires an active TS/SCI with CI Poly and U.S. citizenship, with work performed onsite in a closed, high-security environment.

You will provide real-time responses to system alerts, monitor operations, and document performance while collaborating with customers and peers. A university degree or equivalent is required, with program-specific certification.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience with 0–2 years related experience.
• Active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide near real-time operational response to system alerts and changes in the system environment.
• Monitor near real-time status of the system and apply near real-time technical problem-solving skills.
• Perform and document preliminary evaluation of system problems and advise on design changes to improve efficiency.
• Document and maintain operational event logs and analyze system performance.
• Work in a closed environment with frequent customer and peer interaction.
• Complete Operations Certification Process as required by the program.
• Rotate on a 24/7, 12-hour shift schedule.

Raytheon - Air and Space Defense Systems (ASDS) is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to join a growing team within the Space Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (S-ISR) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU).

What You Will Do:

• Provide near real-time operational response to system alerts and changes in the system environment including system reconfiguration, data analysis, and data reporting
• Monitor near real-time status of the system and applying near real-time technical problem-solving skills
• Perform and document preliminary evaluation of system problems. Advise and assist in effecting design changes to improve operational efficiency and/or reduce cost of operations
• Document and maintain operational event logs and records. Utilize technical training and/or equivalent technical experience to evaluate system performance and enhance system operation and data processing capabilities
• Work in a closed environment where frequent and direct interaction and collaboration with customers and peers
• Perform work in the near real-time decision-making environment and successfully complete required Operations Certification Process
• Perform outlined duties on a rotating 24/7, 12-hour rotating shift schedule

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience
• An active and in-scope TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required for consideration. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Ability to distinguish the difference between colors on a computer monitor (specifically red, blue, white and green)
• 4+ years Intel Operations or Intelligence (Signals) Analysis experience with military to include military leadership
• Knowledge or experience performing satellite mission support in a near real-time operations environment
• Knowledge of tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, analysis and dissemination processes
• Experience working in direct support of customers and with direct and frequent customer interaction
• Complete Operations Certification Process required by program
• Experience monitoring satellite activities in a related field
