Job summary

Law Firms in Dallas/Frisco, TX, seeks an Intellectual Property Paralegal / Legal Assistant to support attorneys handling intellectual property matters, including trademarks, copyrights and patents. You will manage deadlines, maintain organized case files, and assist with legal calendaring in a fast-paced firm environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years as a paralegal or legal assistant, IP experience preferred, familiarity with trademarks/patents/copyrights, and strong organizational skills.

• Support attorneys handling intellectual property matters, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
• Manage deadlines and maintain organized case files.
• Assist with legal calendaring and administrative tasks.
• Provide support to approximately 3 attorneys.
• Work in a fast-paced law firm environment.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of paralegal or legal assistant experience
• Prior Intellectual Property experience is preferred.
• Experience with trademarks, patents, copyrights, or other IP matters is highly preferred.
• Strong organizational and deadline-management skills.
• Paralegal candidates must be certified.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is $80,000–$100,000. Factors that may affect compensation include geography/market, skills, education, experience, years of practice, and other qualifications.

Bonus:

• 6-month bonus
• 12-month bonus

Billable Requirement:

• Approximately 100 billable hours per month
