Job summary

The Hire Company client, a respected law firm in the Loop, seeks an Intellectual Property Paralegal to support domestic and international IP filings and prosecution.

Responsibilities include docketing, preparing trademark and patent applications, managing deadlines, and assisting with portfolio reviews.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s or Paralegal Certificate and 5+ years’ experience in trademark and patent matters, with strong MS Office and docketing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate required.
• 5+ years of legal experience required.
• Experience with both trademark and patent matters required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and docketing software required.
• Understanding of domestic and international IP due diligence and filings preferred.

Our client, a highly reputable law firm based in the Loop, is searching for an Intellectual Property Paralegal to support domestic and international operations. This role will provide integral IP support ranging from copyright filings to IP prosecution.
