Job summary

Finnegan's Electrical and Computer Technology litigation and Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) teams are seeking mid-level to senior litigation associates with experience in computer hardware and software in our Washington, D.C. Office.

The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of solid patent litigation experience and IPR proceedings before the PTAB, plus a JD from an ABA-accredited law school and be licensed to practice law.

Job description

Finnegan's Electrical and Computer Technology litigation and Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) teams continue to grow and are seeking mid-level to senior litigation associates with experience in computer hardware and software in our Washington, D.C. Office.

Successful candidates must have 4-6 years of solid experience in patent litigation and inter partes review (IPR) proceedings before the PTAB. Must have at least 4 years solid litigation experience. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related degree required. Exceptional writing skills are a must. USPTO registration number preferred.

Candidates must have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school and must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in relevant jurisdiction(s).

The base annual pay range for this role is between $310,000 - $390,000. The base pay to be offered will vary and depend on skills and qualifications, experience, location and will also take into account internal equity. A full range of medical, financial and/or other benefits dependent on the position will also be offered.
