Job description

REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate is a patent litigator with experience managing various phases of litigation, including managing document production and review, conducting discovery meet and confers, taking and defending depositions, collaborating with experts in preparing expert reports, and drafting legal memoranda and persuasive briefs. Experience with inter partes reviews and other PTAB trial proceedings are a plus. Additional requirements include the following:

  1. Prior patent litigation experience in a comparable law firm or IP boutique firm setting.
  2. Technical background and/or a degree in engineering or software, such as Computer Science (CS) or Electrical Engineering (EE), preferred.
  3. J.D. required and must be admitted to the bar in the jurisdiction of your primary office; Texas bar admission preferred.
  4. Outstanding academic credentials, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  5. USPTO admission preferred.
