Job summary

Keystone Human Services is seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our team in Newtown, CT. You will provide individualized, person-directed support for adults with intellectual disabilities, mental health needs, and autism, in inclusive community settings.

You will help with daily living skills, personal care, and advocacy for health and wellness, while benefiting from a comprehensive package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Effective communication and basic computer skills.
• Valid driver's license with daily access to a privately maintained and insured vehicle.
• Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including clearances and verifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, person-directed support in daily living skills and advocacy.
• Assist with personal care and daily activities in a home setting.

Key Human Services, a subsidiary of Keystone Human Services, is currently seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our team in providing individualized, person-directed support in the areas of intellectual disabilities, mental health, and autism. As a Direct Support Professional, you will support adults by creating a healthy and engaging home setting, teaching and assisting with daily living skills, assisting with personal care, and advocating for the health and wellness of the people we support.

Job details:

• $20.75 per hour - Full Time or Part Time
• $20.50 per hour - Casual/Per Diem
• Full Time, Part Time, and Casual/Per Diem hours available

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Effective communication and basic computer skills
• Valid driver's license with daily access to a privately maintained and insured vehicle
