Job summary

Keystone Human Services seeks Advanced Direct Support Professionals to join our team in Waterford, CT, providing person-centered support to adults with intellectual disabilities, mental health needs, and autism. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year experience supporting individuals with challenging medical needs or dual diagnosis.
• Effective communication and proficient computer skills.
• Valid driver's license and daily access to a vehicle may be required.
• Successful completion of pre-employment process, clearances and trainings.

Keystone Human Services is currently seeking Advanced Direct Support Professionals to join our team in providing individualized, person-directed support in the areas of intellectual disabilities, mental health, and autism. Our work focuses on inclusion and building communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive and fully participate in everything society has to offer.As an Advanced Direct Support Professional, you will support adults by creating a healthy and engaging home setting, teaching and assisting with daily living skills, assisting with personal care, and advocating for the health and wellness of the people we support. This position may administer medications, perform delegated nursing tasks, monitor health conditions under the supervisor of a nurse, and respond to emergencies following protocols and implementing behavior support plans.
