Keystone Human Services in Paxinos, PA is seeking Advanced Direct Support Professionals to provide person-centered support to adults with intellectual disabilities, mental health, and autism. You will help create a healthy, engaging home setting and promote inclusion in the community.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living skills, advocating for health and wellness, and possibly administering medications under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year work experience supporting individuals with challenging medical needs and/or behaviors or dual diagnosis of intellectual disability and mental health.
• Effective communication and proficient computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license and, depending on work location, daily access to a privately maintained and insured vehicle.
• Successful completion of pre-employment process including clearances and trainings.

As an Advanced Direct Support Professional, you will support adults by creating a healthy and engaging home setting, teaching and assisting with daily living skills, assisting with personal care, and advocating for the health and wellness of the people we support. This position may administer medications, perform delegated nursing tasks, monitor health conditions under the supervisor of a nurse, and respond to emergencies following protocols and implementing behavior support plans. The Advanced Direct Support Professional supports individuals with a high level of need as defined by clinical and/or health care assessments.
