Job summary

Key Human Services, a Keystone subsidiary, is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in Waterford, CT. The role focuses on individualized, person-directed support for residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities, delivering nursing assessments, plans, interventions and evaluations as part of the interdisciplinary team.

Second shift, full-time, non-exempt, with a starting wage of $27.50 per hour; nursing experience in IDD preferred.

Qualifications

  • LPN licensure in good standing.
  • Two years of nursing experience; IDD experience preferred.
  • Effective communication and proficient computer skills.
  • Valid driver's license; may require daily access to a privately maintained vehicle.
  • Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including verifications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation as part of the interdisciplinary team.
  • Coordinate and monitor medical services, including psychiatric and medication services.
  • Support residents to assume responsibility for their own health.

Key Human Services, a subsidiary of Keystone Human Services, is currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team in providing individualized, person-directed support in the area of intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a Licensed Practical Nurses you will be providing the nursing processes of assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation. This is to be done as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team, and has the goal of assisting residents to assume responsibility for their own health. The nurse coordinates and monitors medical services, including psychiatric and medication services, in accordance with regulatory agencies and in response to individual resident needs Keystone Human Services values health, wellbeing, and professional growth.

Job Details
