Job summary

Key Human Services, a Keystone subsidiary, is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in Waterford, CT. The role focuses on individualized, person-directed support for residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities, delivering nursing assessments, plans, interventions and evaluations as part of the interdisciplinary team.

Second shift, full-time, non-exempt, with a starting wage of $27.50 per hour; nursing experience in IDD preferred.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure in good standing.
• Two years of nursing experience; IDD experience preferred.
• Effective communication and proficient computer skills.
• Valid driver's license; may require daily access to a privately maintained vehicle.
• Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including verifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinate and monitor medical services, including psychiatric and medication services.
• Support residents to assume responsibility for their own health.

Key Human Services, a subsidiary of Keystone Human Services, is currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team in providing individualized, person-directed support in the area of intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a Licensed Practical Nurses you will be providing the nursing processes of assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation. This is to be done as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team, and has the goal of assisting residents to assume responsibility for their own health.
