Job summary

DT Global Asia Pacific is seeking a short-term Integrity Adviser to strengthen the integrity function across the Pacific Australia Skills program. The adviser will support fraud and corruption risk management, case coordination, and action tracking, reporting to the Director of Operations and coordinating with the DT Global Integrity team.

Qualifications

• Experience in fraud control, anti-corruption, integrity, investigations, compliance, or related governance functions.
• Understanding integrity risks in program delivery, including fraud, sanctions, conflicts of interest, and financial controls.
• Experience mentoring staff on compliance in practical operating environments.
• Ability to provide clear, proportionate and solutions-focused advice across countries, functions and levels of seniority.
• Experience supporting incident reporting, investigations, case coordination, evidence collation, action tracking or follow-up.
• Strong written communication for concise guidance, briefing notes, training materials, action trackers and end-of-assignment reporting.
• High level of discretion, sound judgement and ability to manage sensitive information confidentially.
• Demonstrated ability to work with senior leadership, integrity specialists, operational teams and focal points.

Background

The Integrity Short-Term Adviser (STA) will strengthen the integrity function across Pacific Australia Skills. The role will help ensure integrity priorities are understood, operationalised and followed up across the program, including fraud and corruption, risks, foreign bribery, sanctions, conflicts of interest, reporting obligations and case management follow-up.

The STA will work closely with the Pacific Australia Skills program team, the Program Director and the wider DT Global corporate team, as required, to support timely reporting of fraud and integrity matters, liaise with the DT Global Integrity team on cases, and support program staff to complete agreed actions arising from reports, reviews, training, risk assessments or case management processes. The STA will also establish and support Integrity Focal Points across the program.

This is a short-term adviser assignment of up to 150 days over two years, with the possibility of extension. The role reports to the Director of Operations, Pacific Australia Skills.

About You

• Demonstrated experience in fraud control, anti-corruption, integrity, investigations, compliance, risk management or related governance functions, preferably in international development or donor-funded programs. Integrity investigation qualifications are strongly preferred.
• Sound understanding of integrity risks relevant to program delivery, including fraud and corruption, bribery, sanctions, conflicts of interest, procurement risks, grants risks, due diligence and financial controls.
• Experience mentoring and coaching staff to apply compliance or integrity requirements in practical operating environments.
• Ability to provide clear, proportionate and solutions-focused advice to program teams, including staff working across different countries, functions and levels of seniority.
• Experience supporting incident reporting, investigations, case coordination, evidence collation, action tracking or follow-up related to suspected misconduct or compliance breaches.
• Strong written communication skills, including the ability to prepare concise guidance, briefing notes, training materials, action trackers and end-of-assignment reporting.
• High level of discretion, sound judgement and ability to manage sensitive information appropriately and confidentially.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership, integrity specialists, operational teams and focal points.

Desirable experience includes: working in the Pacific region or with dispersed multi-country teams; working with DFAT-funded programs or donor compliance requirements; familiarity with DT Global integrity, safeguards, procurement, grants, due diligence or incident reporting processes; and designing or facilitating integrity, fraud and corruption, compliance or ethics training for staff and downstream partners.
