Career Opportunity

Integrity Engineer II

Location: Remote residing in service area states of DE, PA, MD, OH, VA, NC, GA, or FL with periodic travel to office locations as needed.

What you'll be working on:

  1. Overseeing and maintaining Integrity Management Plans (Transmission and Distribution), including risk analysis, leak data evaluation, reviewing High and Medium Consequence Areas, collaborating with SMEs to identify risks, and developing annual training for each Business Unit.
  2. Developing, reviewing, and maintaining SOPs, best practices, and material lists in compliance with pipeline regulations from state agencies and PHMSA for natural gas activities.
  3. Supporting operational compliance by working with departments like Field Operations, GIS, and Business Development, fulfilling data requests, developing drawings or procedures, and ensuring data accuracy.
  4. Acting as liaison with external resources for integrity-related work, including overseeing manual or procedural work related to regulations, leading meetings, reviewing procedures, and providing field support as needed.
  5. Managing PODS data setup and implementation, working with GIS to ensure data integrity, setting up reports, conducting reviews, and providing updates to stakeholders.
  6. Overseeing integrity items such as in-line inspections and assessments, including permit acquisition, planning, collaboration with outside resources, and tracking annual requirements.
  7. Assisting with hydraulic modeling and agency inspections as needed.
  8. Supporting annual reporting requirements.
  9. Representing the company at regulatory, trade, and organization meetings.

Who you are:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in a technical field; engineering preferred.
  2. At least 3 years of experience related to natural gas integrity or engineering.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  4. Valid Driver's License.
  5. Strong leadership skills, including effective communication with all levels of staff and contractors.
  6. Ability to review engineering plans and understand permit requirements.
  7. Ability to review and approve budgets and schedules.
