Job summary

Progressive is seeking a qualified engineer to perform Fitness-for-Service evaluations related to corrosion, dents and crack features. You will use ILI, Direct Assessment and NDE methods to interpret data and guide repair decisions.

This role emphasizes attention to detail and strong cross-functional collaboration. Applicants should hold a BS in Mechanical/Chemical/Civil/Electrical Engineering; NACE CP1 certification is highly desired.

Job description

• 1) Demonstrated experience in Fitness-for-Service evaluations for corrosion, dents and crack features. (e.g. API-579, CorLAS, RSTRENG, MAT-8, etc.)
• (2) Advanced knowledge of ILI and Direct Assessment (DA), Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) methods/practices and pipeline repair. Includes evaluation and decisions based from assessment data.
• (3) Detail-oriented
• (4) Good relationship building and communication skills
• -BS in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Civil Engineering Required. NACE CP1 Certification highly desired.
• -Supplier to provide equipment- laptop and monitor
