Job summary

Frontline Communications, a division of Pierce Manufacturing and part of the Oshkosh family, seeks an integrator to install and connect electrical wiring on heavy trucks. You will ensure electrical systems operate correctly for each unit and learn installation techniques under supervision.

Daily duties include wiring, testing, and assisting with monitors, radios, and rack-mounted equipment, while adhering to safety standards in varying indoor/outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related experience.
• Basic understanding of network, audio/video, RF, and communications systems.
• Ability to learn installation techniques and company standards.
• Basic troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and connect audio, video, communications, and network wiring systems under supervision.
• Utilize hand tools and test equipment safely and effectively.
• Terminate Cat6, coaxial, and other communication cables under supervision.
• Perform basic AC/DC electrical wiring and soldering tasks under supervision.
• Assist with the installation of equipment including monitors, phones, radios, and rack-mounted equipment.
• Read and interpret basic engineering drawings and schematics.
• Conduct basic functional testing of installed systems.
• Complete assigned paperwork and documentation accurately.
• Follow company quality standards and safety procedures.
• Report issues, defects, or safety concerns to supervisor

JOB SUMMARY:

The position, integrator, is responsible for installing and connecting various electrical wiring systems on heavy trucks. The integrator is also responsible for ensuring electrical systems are operating correctly for each unit.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install and connect audio, video, communications, and network wiring systems under supervision.
• Utilize hand tools and test equipment safely and effectively.
• Terminate Cat6, coaxial, and other communication cables under supervision.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Education.
• Technical school certification in related field.
