Job summary

Frontline Communications, an Oshkosh company, is seeking an integrator to install and connect electrical wiring systems on heavy trucks. You will ensure electrical systems operate correctly for each unit and support installation of monitors, radios, and rack-mounted equipment.

You will work with basic wiring, test equipment, and drawings, following safety standards in a hands-on environment supporting a team-focused culture.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of related experience in wiring, AV, network, RF or communications systems.
  • Ability to learn installation techniques and company standards.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

  • Install and connect audio, video, communications, and network wiring systems under supervision.
  • Utilize hand tools and test equipment safely and effectively.
  • Terminate Cat6, coaxial, and other communication cables under supervision.
  • Perform basic AC/DC electrical wiring and soldering tasks under supervision.
  • Assist with installation of monitors, phones, radios, and rack-mounted equipment.
  • Read and interpret basic engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Conduct basic functional testing of installed systems.
  • Follow company quality standards and safety procedures.

JOB SUMMARY:

The position, integrator, is responsible for installing and connecting various electrical wiring systems on heavy trucks. The integrator is also responsible for ensuring electrical systems are operating correctly for each unit.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Install and connect audio, video, communications, and network wiring systems under supervision.
  • Utilize hand tools and test equipment safely and effectively.
  • Terminate Cat6, coaxial, and other communication cables under supervision.
  • Perform basic AC/DC electrical wiring and soldering tasks under supervision.
  • Assist with the installation of equipment including monitors, phones, radios, and rack-mounted equipment.
  • Read and interpret basic engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Conduct basic functional testing of installed systems.
  • Complete assigned paperwork and documentation accurately.
  • Follow company quality standards and safety procedures.
  • Report issues, defects, or safety concerns to supervisor.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1+ years of related experience.
  • Basic understanding of network, audio/video, RF, and communications systems.
  • Ability to learn installation techniques and company standards.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills.
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Education.
  • Technical school certification in related field.
