Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center is seeking a qualified integrative therapy professional to support the Cancer Center Services. The role requires current license or certification in integrative therapies such as Reiki, aromatherapy, and restorative yoga, plus an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a healthcare field and at least three years of relevant experience.

You will lead individual and group sessions, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and educate patients and caregivers.

Qualifications

• License or Certification in Integrative Therapy, Reiki, Aromatherapy, Restorative/Slow Yoga, or equivalent.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Science/Exercise Science or in a Healthcare Field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Integrative Therapy, Reiki, Yoga, Meditation & Mindfulness, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and recommends therapeutic activities.
• Provides experiential therapies (e.g., slow/restorative yoga, reiki, aromatherapy) for relief of stress and anxiety.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to align with program goals.
• Documents findings and activities in patient medical records.
• Educates patients and caregivers and supports decision-making throughout cancer journey.
• Facilitates workshops and events with Cancer Support Services Team.
