Job summary
Sutter West Bay Medical Group in San Francisco seeks a physician with MD or DO to join the Institute for Health & Healing in outpatient integrative medicine. You will collaborate with primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, chiropractors, nutritionists, and psychotherapists to deliver personalized whole‑person care.
In a 0.8–1.0 FTE, outpatient role, you will integrate nutrition, mind‑body therapies, supplements and lifestyle medicine into treatment plans, document accurately in EPIC EMR,
Qualifications
- Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited residency (family medicine, internal medicine, or specialty).
- Formal fellowship in Integrative Medicine or related certification is preferred.
- Experience integrating complementary modalities into patient care.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a physician consultant for integrative care of complex or chronic conditions.
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team and document in the EHR.
- Participate in community education, employee wellness programs, and philanthropic initiatives.
- Deliver personalized whole‑person care incorporating nutrition and mind‑body therapies.
