Job description

We are an established medical practice serving Cincinnati, Indianapolis, and the surrounding area, specializing in evaluations for patients with swallowing disorders. We are currently seeking additional physicians to join our team, with both full-time and part-time positions available. Physicians with various levels of experience are encouraged to apply. During training, compensation will be provided.

Compensation and Benefits

1. Annual income for working 4 to 5 days a week ranges from approximately $160,000 to $225,000 or more, depending on volume.
2. Benefits include health coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan, and an educational stipend.
3. No weekends or night call required.
4. Malpractice coverage (including tail) is fully paid by the practice.
5. Over 19 years and 400,000 evaluations, we have not had any malpractice inquiries or actions.

Practice Mission and Services

Our mission at Midwest Dysphagia Consultants is to provide professional dysphagia consultations, including modified barium swallow studies, for patients with swallowing difficulties. These consultations are delivered via a mobile unit, as depicted on our website.

Patient and Facility Coordination

We serve various facilities, private offices, and homebound patients, with requests routed through our office staff. Approximately 95% of studies are scheduled within 24 to 72 hours of request receipt, often on the same day depending on volume and location. Our goal is to ensure staff are home between 4:00 and 5:00 PM daily.
