  • Knowledge of Systems Engineering fundamentals including V-model lifecycle – preferred.
  • Knowledge of Requirements Management practices in accordance with: ISO/IEC/IEEE 29148; ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288; INCOSE handbook – preferred.
  • INCOSE ASEP Certification - preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review contract, client, standard, code, and regulation documents to identify requirements.
  • Support Requirements Management activities, including capture, definition, allocation, and RVTM development.
  • Support Verification and Validation activities by coordinating input and evidence.
  • Use project tools, templates, trackers, and SharePoint workflows to organize information and support reporting.
  • Coordinate with discipline teams, stakeholders, and supervisors to collect input and complete tasks.
  • Support continuous improvement of Requirements Management and Systems Engineering processes.

Position Overview

The Integrative Engineering & Technology Solutions (IETS) department is seeking an IETS Analyst to round out our growing team of talented individuals. This role involves learning opportunities through independent study, formal training, mentorship and on the job practice. The goal is for the IETS Analyst to develop the knowledge and skills to work autonomously within the IETS team, performing tasks as required.

Location

This position is within our Lone Tree office in Colorado and may require travel as needed up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities
  • Learn, apply, and follow applicable company procedures, project requirements, and Systems Engineering standards, including relevant Kiewit Engineering procedures, INCOSE guidance, and ISO/IEEE 15288 principles.
  • Review contract, client, standard, code, and regulation documents to identify, interpret, and document technical and non-technical requirements.
  • Support Requirements Management activities, including requirements capture, definition, allocation, attribute assignment, repository maintenance, and Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix (RVTM) development.
  • Support Requirements Verification and Validation activities by coordinating discipline input, tracking verification methods, phases, evidence, compliance status, and related review information.
  • Use project tools, templates, trackers, and SharePoint-based workflows to organize requirements information, maintain current project data, and support reporting or dashboard updates.
  • Coordinate and communicate with discipline teams, project stakeholders, and supervisors to collect input, clarify requirements, resolve comments, and complete assigned Systems Engineering tasks.
  • Support continuous improvement of Kiewit Requirements Management and Systems Engineering processes by identifying lessons learned, process gaps, and opportunities to improve templates, workflows, and project execution.
