Job summary

Healios Integrative Health in Portland, ME is hiring a full-time Chiropractor to join an integrative musculoskeletal care team. You will evaluate, treat, educate, and collaborate with physical therapists, acupuncturists, and other providers to improve movement and reduce pain.

The position offers an $80,000–$120,000 annual salary with a Monday–Friday schedule and strong emphasis on patient outcomes, documentation, and professional development within a supportive clinic culture.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited college.
• Active Maine chiropractic license or eligibility to obtain Maine licensure before employment.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and terminology.
• Ability to evaluate patients and develop individualized chiropractic treatment plans.
• Strong manual adjusting and patient-care skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to explain diagnoses, treatment recommendations, and wellness strategies clearly.
• Commitment to accurate clinical documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Patient-centered and outcomes-focused approach to care.
• Ability to work collaboratively within an integrative healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive patient consultations and examinations.
• Evaluating the spine and neuromusculoskeletal system.
• Developing individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Performing chiropractic adjustments and other appropriate manual treatments.
• Educating patients about their conditions, treatment recommendations, movement, and self-care.
• Coordinating care with physical therapists, acupuncturists, medical providers, and other members of the clinical team.
• Maintaining accurate, complete, and timely patient records.
• Documenting treatment plans, patient progress, and prognosis.
• Following HIPAA requirements and all applicable state and federal regulations.
• Maintaining Maine chiropractic licensure and completing required continuing education.
