Job summary

Welltech Partners in Loves Park, IL seeks a licensed Acupuncturist to join its integrated wellness center. You will deliver patient-centered acupuncture within a multidisciplinary team that includes chiropractic, rehabilitation, massage therapy, and aesthetics to support pain relief and overall well-being.

Responsibilities include consultations, individualized treatment planning, reviewing records for contraindications, and coordinating care with other professionals.

Qualifications

• Degree or graduate-level education in Acupuncture or Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from an accredited institution.
• Current Illinois Acupuncture License in good standing.
• Current CPR/BLS certification, as applicable.
• Professional liability insurance or the ability to obtain coverage.
• Strong communication, assessment, and patient relationship-building skills.
• Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and adapt care to patient needs.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
• Flexibility to travel between practice locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations and assessments to identify treatment needs and determine appropriate acupuncture therapies.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient diagnoses, medical history, symptoms, and wellness goals.
• Review medical records and physician orders to identify contraindications before treatment.
• Provide professional acupuncture treatments to manage pain and promote well-being.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients on treatment expectations and self-care practices.
• Communicate with patients and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and complete required duties promptly.
