GeoLogics is seeking an Integration & Test Engineer for a long-term contract in Scottsdale, AZ. The role focuses on rapid prototype mission-critical solutions within UTF, requiring strong testing methodologies and Python expertise. W2 hourly contract, US citizen required, pay $40–$44/hr DOE.

The engineer will oversee integration, verification, and validation of embedded systems, collaborating with hardware, firmware, and software teams to ensure product quality and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent) with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with test equipment (signal analyzer, signal generator, USRP).
  • Solid knowledge of test engineering concepts, principles, and theories.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming and scripting languages.

Responsibilities

  • Generation of system test work products by applying standards, processes, procedures and tools.
  • Develop test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products.
  • Develop functional, environmental, operational, and/or performance tests on hardware, software, and systems.
  • Design, development and implementation of cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting of hardware, software and systems for all phases of product development.
  • Design comprehensive test plans that cover all aspects of product functionality
  • Support automated test scripts using Python 3.9+ following coding standards
  • Implement robust verification and validation methodologies
  • Participate in integration activities between hardware, firmware, and software teams
  • Establish integration procedures that ensure smooth component interaction
  • Support AGILE implementation
  • Create detailed test documentation including test plans, procedures, and reports

INTEGRATION & TEST ENGINEER

As an Integration & Test Engineer for Tactical Communications, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for providing rapid prototype mission critical solutions to our customer community. The Lead is responsible for overseeing the integration, verification, and validation of complex embedded systems within the Unified Testing Framework (UTF) environment. This role requires expert-level knowledge of testing methodologies, Python programming, and system integration practices to ensure product quality and reliability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
