Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an Integration Technician II to join the Lunar Permanence team in the Greater Seattle Area. You will design, build, and verify test assets to integrate electronics and software for the Lunar Lander, including simulations, emulators, and interfaces.

This role emphasizes safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications include an Associate degree, 2+ years in electrical/electromechanical assembly, IPC certifications, and

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in electrical/electronic engineering technology or mechanical discipline.
  • 2+ years experience with electrical/electromechanical assemblies.
  • Certifications IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 (or equivalent).
  • Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and drawings.
  • Experience with small tools and hand tools; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Order and track parts for Component Test hardware; maintain inventory.
  • Kit materials and transfers between storage, assembly areas and labs.
  • Assemble Component Test electrical and mechanical systems from drawings.
  • Build, test and rework cable assemblies and harnesses.
  • Checkout and troubleshoot electronic assemblies.
  • Load software/drivers on computers/instruments.
  • Update test docs and drawings using CREO/Windchill.
  • Support integration of flight avionics and control/communication hardware.
  • Support system tests for flight software qualification and training.
  • Modify Component Test configurations per procedures.
  • Maintain calibration schedule and transfer hardware to labs.

The test assets will provide an environment to integrate the electronics and software for system development, verification, and validation. This will include software simulations and hardware emulators, as well as software for interfacing with these simulators and emulators.We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight.
