Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. in Houston is seeking a detail-oriented Integration Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of the integration team overseeing the design, fabrication, testing, and delivery of industrial control panels and automation systems.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on, with strong knowledge of PLCs, electrical schematics, and lean manufacturing, able to collaborate with engineering, project management, production, and quality to meet safety and customer specs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial control panel manufacturing, integration, or automation systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
  • Working knowledge of industrial control systems, PLCs, VFDs, and automation equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of integration technicians and production personnel.
  • Assign work priorities to support production schedules and customer delivery requirements.
  • Ensure electrical assemblies and control systems are built according to engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
  • Monitor productivity, workflow, and labor utilization to improve operational efficiency.
  • Support troubleshooting, testing, and issue resolution during integration and FAT activities.
  • Coordinate with engineering, project management, procurement, and quality teams to resolve production or technical issues.
  • Ensure compliance with UL508A, NEC, customer requirements, and internal quality standards.
  • Conduct inspections and verify workmanship throughout the production process.
  • Promote and enforce all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Lead employee training, coaching, and development initiatives.
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance management activities.
  • Maintain accurate production and reporting documentation.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities within the integration process.
  • Support Lean manufacturing and process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with inventory, materials coordination, and production planning as needed

Job Summary

Panelmatic is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Integration Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of the integration team at the Houston facility. This role is responsible for supervising personnel, coordinating production activities, ensuring quality workmanship, and supporting the successful integration, testing, and delivery of industrial control panels and automation systems.

The Integration Supervisor works closely with engineering, project management, production, and quality teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with customer specifications and company standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge of industrial control systems and a commitment to continuous improvement, safety, and operational excellence.

Job Duties
  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of integration technicians and production personnel

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Technology, Automation, Industrial Systems, or related field
  • 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Familiarity with UL508A, NEC, and industrial electrical standards
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems
  • Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
  • Experience supporting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) activities
