Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS or related field.
• 5+ years as an integration engineer/developer focused on Boomi.
• Deep Boomi AtomSphere experience: Boomi Integration, Flow, Data Integration, API Management.
• Experience with canonical data structures (CDMs).
• Proficiency with REST, SOAP, SFTP, EDI and Postman tooling.
• Familiarity with XML/JSON/CSV formats and external APIs (JSON:API).
• Experience managing relational databases with queries and stored procedures.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy integrations on Boomi AtomSphere.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and tech teams to translate requirements.
• Monitor and maintain existing integrations for performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot data flow, connectivity, and performance issues.

Great new fulltime opportunity based in the Philadelphia metro area. This is a hybrid position with onsite work required on a weekly basis.

The Boomi Integration Specialist role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise integration solutions using the Boomi platform to enable reliable, scalable data exchange across critical business systems.

This role is a direct contributor to enhancing and growing Boomi as a data and services hub, connecting various internal enterprise systems and providing data and services to external partners.

The Boomi Integration Specialist contributes to integration architecture decisions and supports continuous improvement across the integration landscape.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, data science, management information systems (MIS), or a related business technology field


• >5 years of hands-on experience as an integration engineer or developer, with a focus on the Boomi platform


• Deep expertise in the Boomi AtomSphere platform, including Boomi Integration, Boomi Flow, Boomi Data Integration, and Boomi API Management.


• Deep experience with Canonical Data Structures (Canonical Data Models / CDMs)


• Proficiency in various integration patterns and protocols such as REST, SOAP, SFTP, and EDI as well as development and testing tools including Postman


• Strong knowledge of data formats, including XML, JSON, and CSV


• Experience in working with different external APIs including JSON:API


• Experience managing relational databases (e.g., DB2, SQL Server, Oracle) with proficiency in managing DB tables, queries and stored procedures

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, test, and deploy integrations using the Boomi AtomSphere platform


• Work closely with business stakeholders and other technical teams to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions


• Monitor and maintain existing integrations, ensuring optimal performance and reliability


• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data flow, connectivity, and performance


• Document integration processes, configurations, and best practices


• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Server management skills and an understanding of infrastructure concepts including networking, storage, backups, disaster recovery, etc.


• Experience with other integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, TIBCO)


• Boomi certification(s) including Boomi Professional Developer Certification or Boomi Professional Integration Architect
