Job description

Overview

HR Acuity’s Professional Services group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Integration Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in working with our customers during and after implementation, ensuring seamless integration setup, technical expertise, and optimizing integration performance, all of which directly impacts customer satisfaction and HR Acuity’s success. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, including Product Management and Engineering, to influence the development of new tooling and raise/resolve technical issues. Additionally, you will provide training and support to our customer-facing teams, ensuring they are well-equipped to assist clients with integration-related matters.

What this job is
  • A customer-facing role working directly with external clients and owning the communication directly with customers and their IT teams.
  • A project management role, carrying a book of roughly 15 to 20 integration projects at once and driving each to resolution.
  • Hands-on technical work: responsible for data migrations, HRIS changes, and standard/custom integrations.
  • Enterprise API integration work (REST, SOAP, SFTP, webhooks) connecting HR Acuity to systems like HRIS, CRM, and ERP, including for the company's biggest customers.
  • A translator role, turning customer business requirements into technical configurations and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
What this job is not
  • Not an engineering role. The person will not write code.
  • Not a pure back-office or heads-down technical seat. Customer communication is more than half the job.
  • Not a support ticket queue. Support backgrounds can qualify, but only if the candidate has managed projects and done more advanced customer and backend work.
