Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled SAP integration specialist to design, implement, and support complex integration solutions. The role focuses on SAP PI development, BTP integration, and associated XML/JSON data formats to support enterprise processes.

You will work with internal teams across countries, read/write SQL, XSLT, XQuery, XPath, and Groovy, and engage in testing and documentation to ensure robust, scalable integrations.

Qualifications

Experience with SAP PI development (7.31+) and/or SAP BTP Integration Suite.
Ability to read/write SQL, XSLT, XQuery, XPath, Groovy.
Experience with EDI EDIFACT and ANSI X12 standards.
Experience with SuccessFactors integrations and SAP ECC interfacing via IDOCs/ProxyClasses.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support integration solutions within Group Information Services
Create or amend integration solutions according to specifications and plans
Plan, develop, execute, and repeat tests to eliminate errors and achieve error-free results
Document work according to agreed standards
Perform testing of deliverables, independently or with others
Process and apply new technical information quickly
Participate in reviews of own work
Work largely autonomously
Establish ongoing working relationships with internal customers
Capture, investigate, resolve, and appropriately elevate system problems
Develop proposals for system changes related to service improvements and feed them into the pre-sales cycle
Handle service requests
Coordinate and implement system-configuration changes according to agreed specifications
Document improvement requests and communicate them to development teams
Act as a contact for implementation of system requirements within assigned projects
Conduct regular reviews with relevant business project managers
Prepare and distribute progress reports to the team leader
Track changes in relevant business areas and ensure systems adapt to business operations

Requirements

SAP PI development experience in 7.31 and/or above
SAP BTP Integration Suite experience
Ability to read/write SQL
Ability to read/write XSLT
Ability to read/write XQuery

Ability to read/write Groovy
Experience with EDI EDIFACT and ANSI X12 standards
Experience with cXML and xCBL XML standards
Experience with SuccessFactors integrations
Experience with SAP ECC, interfacing with IDOCs and ProxyClasses
Understanding of software development principles
Appreciation of software development methodologies
Logical and analytical approach to solving problems
Capability in at least one programming/scripting language, such as ABAP, VB, C++, PowerShell, Groovy, XSLT, XQuery, or SQL
Knowledge of methods and procedures for planning, creating, and performing tests for program components and assemblies
Excellent knowledge and experience of integration developments in both A2A and B2B integrations
Excellent knowledge of XML and JSON formats
Legally eligible to work in the United States
Good knowledge and experience of SAP, MS Office, and MS Teams
Expert user of at least one middleware application, with a deep understanding of integration methods
Excellent attention to detail
Understanding of business processes, ideally in the procurement cycle, and ITIL management
Basic knowledge of several different systems from user and system configuration/administration perspectives
