Job summary

Mach Industries in California seeks an Integration Reliability and QMS Engineer to drive reliability for complex hardware across design, manufacturing, test and field support. Requires a engineering degree with 2+ years in manufacturing/quality/reliability, experience with CNC, welding, NDE/PT/MT, and strong cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, quality or equivalent experience.
• Two or more years in manufacturing/quality/reliability engineering or similar hardware environment.
• Experience with root-cause analysis, corrective action, or failure-investigation methods.
• Experience with CNC, welding and non-destructive testing (NDE/PT/MT).
• Experience analyzing build, test, or production data to identify risks.
• Ability to collaborate with design, manufacturing, test, operations and program teams.
• Hands-on work with complex hardware in integration, production, test and failure investigations.

Responsibilities

• Define integration strategies for readiness of components and production.
• Conduct risk assessments and inspection plan reviews for complex products.
• Develop and improve control plans and methods for integrating systems.
• Support component integration, built-to-print assembly and production transition.
• Monitor yield and process robustness to identify risks.
• Lead systemic root-cause investigations for hardware issues.
• Act as focal point for QMS and integration of scaling QMS.
• Collect and analyze build/test/field data to improve reliability and decision-making.
• Up to 30% travel.
