Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an Integration Tester to join our Software Development & Support (Digital) team. You will design, develop, and execute integration test plans for APIs and third-party components, and perform end-to-end testing across multiple platforms.

The role requires US citizenship, IRS clearance, a bachelor’s degree, and at least two years in software testing. You’ll work in an IRS office location and collaborate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, using JIRA and CI/CD tools.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required.
• Must have pre-existing IRS clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree; four years of experience may substitute.
• At least two years in software testing (integration testing).
• Strong SDLC knowledge and testing methodologies.
• Experience with JMeter, Postman, SoapUI, Selenium, and Cucumber.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab).
• Proficiency in Python or JavaScript is a plus.
• Experience with Oracle, DB2, or SQL Server for data testing.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work from IRS Office in listed locations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute integration test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to understand integration points and requirements.
• Perform end-to-end testing of software systems, APIs, and third-party integrations.
• Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Validate data flow and system interactions across multiple platforms.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices in integration testing.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for improving system architecture and integration design.
