Job summary

Setec Alpha seeks an experienced Technology Project Manager to lead complex entity integrations across global infrastructure disciplines. You will oversee end-to-end planning, coordinate migration efforts, and drive governance and accountability across networks, cloud, and data center services.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of technology project management experience, including merger/integration programs.
• Experience delivering tech integrations within financial institutions; hedge fund or capital markets experience preferred.
• Broad understanding of enterprise technology infrastructure: networks, data centers, cloud, security, collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an end-to-end entity integration plan with scope, timelines, resources, budget, dependencies, and tech workstreams.
• Coordinate migration and integration activities across networks, end-user computing, cloud, information security, and data center services.
• Partner with workstream leads to develop detailed delivery plans, identify risks, milestones, and drive execution accountability.
• Manage cross-workstream dependencies, sequencing, and critical-path activities to maintain delivery momentum.
• Establish and lead integration governance with reporting cadences, decision forums, escalation processes, and change control.
• Provide technology infrastructure leadership with clear updates on program status, risks, milestones, and deviations from plan.
• Build strong relationships with technology teams and stakeholders to support alignment and knowledge transfer.
• Monitor budgets and resource allocation, resolve delivery issues across planning, migration, and cutover phases, ensuring security and compliance.

This team delivers flexible, scalable technology and advanced proprietary systems across global infrastructure disciplines, including Networks, End User Services, Cloud & AI/ML, Information Security, and Data Centre Services, supporting the continued evolution of the firm’s analytical and trading capabilities.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain an end-to-end entity integration plan covering scope, timelines, resources, budget, dependencies, and technology infrastructure workstreams.
• Coordinate migration and integration activities across networks, end-user computing, cloud infrastructure, information security, and data center services.
• Partner with workstream leads to develop detailed delivery plans, identify risks, establish milestones, and drive accountability for execution.
• Manage cross-workstream dependencies, sequencing, and critical-path activities to maintain delivery momentum.
• Establish and lead integration governance, including reporting cadences, decision forums, escalation processes, and change control.
• Provide Technology Infrastructure leadership with clear, concise updates on program status, key risks, decisions, milestones, and deviations from plan.
• Build strong relationships with the integrated entity’s technology teams and the firms stakeholders to support alignment, knowledge transfer, and effective collaboration.
• Monitor budgets and resource allocation, resolve delivery issues across planning, migration, and cutover phases, and ensure adherence to security, compliance, and operational standards.

What You Bring

• 7+ years of technology project management experience, including significant experience leading merger, acquisition, or entity integration programs.
• Required experience delivering technology integrations within financial institutions; hedge fund or capital markets experience strongly preferred.
• Broad understanding of enterprise technology infrastructure, including networking, data centers, end-user computing, cloud platforms, information security, and collaboration tools.
• Experience managing technology migrations, including network cutovers, identity and access management transitions, endpoint migrations, and application re-platforming.
• Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies, including MS Project, Jira, or equivalent platforms.
• Strong understanding of financial-services technology environments and infrastructure-related compliance considerations; ability to use AI tools and technologies to improve project and infrastructure efficiency.
