Job summary

Aerostar in Sioux Falls, SD is offering an engineering internship focused on product development processes, design, documentation, and testing for your project. You will work independently and with a team to support internal and external customers and complete a summer project presentation.

Qualifications include pursuing a BS in aerospace or mechanical engineering with at least 2 years toward degree, proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel, and familiarity with SolidWorks, MATLAB, or Python.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering with at least 2 years completed.
• Proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel required.
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing, testing, or lab settings highly desired.
• Familiarity with SolidWorks, MATLAB, or Python desired.
• Ability to handle multiple projects with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and confidentiality suitable for team leadership.

• Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, without close supervision.
• Ability to work with a high level of confidentiality.
• Capacity to be flexible and multitask.
