What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, develop, and maintain APIs for proprietary and third-party applications, ensuring security, performance, and compliance with best practices
- Collaborate with vendors to integrate and support external applications
- Assist in system engineering tasks, including monitoring and optimizing vendor applications
- Work closely with internal teams to gather requirements and implement scalable integration solutions
- Develop and maintain technical documentation related to APIs and integrations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with MuleSoft and other API management tools such as Postman, Swagger, and API Gateway
- Experience in developing APIs (RESTful and SOAP) and system integrations
- Strong understanding of data exchange formats (JSON, XML) and familiarity with OpenAPI Specification (OAS) or RAML
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C#, or Node.js
- Ability to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection, located in the United States or Puerto Rico
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Proven experience driving code quality through code reviews and best practices
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub) and DevOps practices
- Ability to script and automate integration tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Knowledge of Accounting/Finance business processes
