Job summary

DCS Corporation's Air & Space Technology (AST) Sector seeks an Integration Engineer to join our digital engineering team in Dayton, OH. You will help set up and support computing systems and workflows for DoD projects, prioritizing secure, reliable computing for advanced analysis.

You will collaborate with modeling, simulation, and systems engineering experts, manage data/tools for dispersed teams, and help implement secure development processes.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required for access to customer information.
• Active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• BS degree in engineering/science or related field with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience with software development in C/C++, Python, or Java.
• Experience integrating and supporting computer systems and networks.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and test-driven development.
• Understanding of systems engineering, requirements analysis, and documentation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

DCS Air & Space Technology (AST) Sector is looking for an Integration Engineer to join our digital engineering team. If you are interested in supporting the development of secure and reliable computing solutions and want to contribute to important national security projects, this role offers the opportunity to work with new technology and system analysis. At DCS-an employee-owned company known for innovative solutions in Defense, Aerospace, Human Factors, and Security-you'll help support the computing systems that power advanced analysis.

In this role, you'll assist with defense research and development projects, working alongside experts in modeling, simulation, and systems engineering. You'll help set up and support computing systems and workflows to ensure models, tools, and resources work together safely and efficiently for the Department of Defense. Your contributions will help improve decisions about new technologies and support the reliability and organization of complex systems.

Essential Job Functions

• Assist in developing and organizing systems to manage engineering data for design initiatives.
• Support data and tool management for geographically dispersed teams to help ensure secure and efficient information sharing.
• Use modern computing technologies (such as cloud and high-performance computing) to support collaborative design workflows.
• Help implement and maintain secure development and operational processes for software and model creation.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to support collaboration and technical integration.
• Assist in planning and execution of demonstrations that integrate multiple technology solutions.
• Document technical methods and procedures to support program requirements and knowledge transfer.
• Provide technical support and help optimize computing systems to ensure effective project operations.

Required Skills

• Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must have an active Secret level U.S. DoD security clearance.
• At least a BS degree in engineering, science, mathematics, or a related technical discipline and at least 5 years of related experience.
• Experience with software development and programming languages (such as C, C++, Python, or Java).
• Experience supporting the integration, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of computer systems, networks, or research components.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile practices and test-driven development.
• Understanding of system engineering principles, including requirements analysis, system design, and technical documentation.
• Good communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and documenting technical procedures.
• Ability to travel, as required.

Desired Skills

• MS in engineering, science, mathematics, or related technical discipline.
• Active Top Secret security clearance or higher.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards relevant to Department of Defense environments.
• Experience building micro-services and REST APIs, with some exposure to security and CI/CD tools.
• Experience working in Agile teams and using tools like MS TFS, Confluence, and Jira.
