Job summary

First Orion is seeking an Integrations Engineer to lead implementations and manage complex changes for client solutions. You will own technical communications, research platforms, and ensure alignment with business strategy while collaborating with multiple teams.

The role requires 5+ years in server-side development, strong API experience, and familiarity with security concepts. Experience with cloud platforms and various contact platforms is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with Rest and Soap APIs.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, JQuery, and C#.
• Experience with AWS and Azure App Services.
• 5+ years of server-side software development and integration in SDLC/Agile.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and tune performance.
• Familiar with security concepts (auth, encryption, signatures).
• Able to read Dev Docs (Swagger, ReadMe).
• Able to explain First Orion tech to clients.
• Collaborate with Integration, Support, Engineering, Sales Engineering teams.

We are looking for an Integrations Engineer who helps lead implementations of First Orion solutions and/or manages complex change that significantly impact an existing solution.

What you'll be doing:

• Ensure the individualized solution incorporates clients' and First Orion's overall business strategy and technical vision
• Research calling platforms used by clients to integrate First Orion's technologies
• Research technologies related to client communication platforms
• Technical owner in all solution communications with the client and progress throughout the implementation phase
• Assigned to projects for an existing First Orion customer or a new logo, OR assigned to existing First Orion customer requiring on-going solution consulting for customer solution enhancements management
• Engage in project communications with the client using a consultative approach.
• Anticipate obstacles and recommend solution options as it relates to the solution.
• Focus on client value and satisfaction while balancing corporate objectives, feasibility and scalability of solution
• Provide direction with technical and business stakeholder requirements and overall project plan as it relates to the solution
• Maintain subject matter expertise in First Orion and industry technologies, verticals, and lines of business to help align client business needs to products, solutions and services offered
• Identify areas of process improvement that drive profit enhancement and client value and instill that mindset while contributing through others
• Have a strong understanding of pre-sales process focusing on scoping and estimation and be able to lead scoping and estimation efforts for new projects for existing account/new logo

What you'll need:

• Experience with Rest and Soap APIs
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, JQuery, and C#
• Experience with Amazon Web Services and Azure App Services
• 5+ years of on the job hands-on server-side software development and integration experience using Object Oriented methodology in SDLC and Agile Methodologies
• Ability to manage the troubleshooting of issues and conduct performance tuning, logging
• Ability to troubleshooting and research client issues
• Familiar with general security concepts (authentication, authorization, encryption, digital signatures)
• Ability to understand and explain Developer Documentation (Swagger, ReadMe)
• Ability to interact with technical and non-technical customers to explain First Orion Technology
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Integration, Support, Engineering, Sales Engineering)

Bonus Points:

• Experience using calling platforms such as Zoom, Five9, Amazon Connect, Genesys, etc.
• Experience using tools such as Postman, Databricks and Zendesk
• Experience in the Telecom industry
• Relational Database experience with strong SQL knowledge
• Mobile experience with iOS and Android
• Experience with call center operations and Integration
