Job Description
Ryder Enterprise Technology is searching for a candidate for our EDI Integration team. A successful candidate will assist in developing, testing, and supporting the configuration of IBM/Sterling B2B Integrator EDI Translation and communications for a variety of customers. Strong problem-solving skills are required along with the ability to assist in conceptualizing, designing, coding, and implementing complex, high visibility projects. Coordination with other teams as well as external partners to develop appropriate interfaces and ensure quality and efficiency through planning, development and both integration and regression testing to resolve complex business needs are important.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Expertise in data integration deploying customized map solutions per requirements.
- Developing map integration with Ryder’s applications:
- Manhattan’s SCALE WMS (specifically ODBC map development)
- HighJump WMS
- Accellos WMS
- SAP WMS and OM (iDoc map integration)
- SAP Hana WMS and OM (iDoc map integration)
- FBAP
- ROL/TM
- Other applications
- EDI mapping documents include 850, 856, 860, 861, 940, 945, 947, 846 and 888.
- Deploy end-to-end implementation using B2B/MFT utilizing EDI Transport protocols SFTP, FTPS, AS2, Web Services.
- Expertise in developing and preparing EDI documentation (creating data flow designs using Microsoft Visio), as well as providing content and format testing for internal and external validation.
- Strong detailed analysis of project requirements and assisting in the development of functional specifications with participation in CDD (customer detailed design) sessions. Recommend alternative solutions to improve project cost and/or duration. Translate business requirements into architecture or process designs.
- Support end-users with root cause analysis and corrective actions, provide Level 2 support: log review, queue monitoring, start/stop business processes, reboot nodes and environments, and handle a 24x7 Level 2 support on-call rotation including weekends. Observe and report conflicting business practices across multiple platforms and verticals including dashboard analytics and analysis.
- Ability to support and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- B2B Integrator Mapping Services design, develop, test, and deploy quality solutions.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide direction, guidance, and definition of enterprise architecture to support the corporate business strategy effectively.
- Coach and mentor others in technical and functional knowledge and skills needed to achieve customer requirements.
- Provide project status updates to stakeholders and leadership including internal and external executives.
- Provide advanced multi-disciplinary knowledge, skills, and experience in technical architecture, design, and development.
- Present design reviews and change reviews for executive migration approval and collaborate with team members to exchange knowledge.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Support, troubleshoot, modify, enhance, and maintain existing B2B Integrator applications, scripts, tools, and web services.
- Deliver projects on-time and within budget.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or a closely related field, or equivalent formal training and work experience.
Experience
- 6+ years of work experience in Information Technology or a closely related field.
- 6+ years of experience with EDI standards, processes, & tools, including change management methodology.
- Experience with IBM/Sterling B2B Integrator software, IBM/Sterling MQ Series, and EDI mapping documents including 850, 856, 860, 861, 940, 945, 947, 846, and 888.
- Experience in data design, construction, implementation, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in programming: SQL, Webservices, XPATH, XSLT, Unix Shell scripting, Java.
- Database management experience: Oracle and SQL Server.
- Knowledge of Linux system navigation, command-line processing, curl scripts, cron-jobs, bash scripting, Perl scripting, Java, and API experience.
- Experience with industry-standard change management tools and methodologies, e.g., ServiceNow.

Compensation Information
The compensation offered may be influenced by experience, education, work location, market data, internal equity, and other factors. The position may be eligible for bonuses, commissions, or long-term incentives. Salary range: $85,000 - $96,000.
